Dry Transformers

General Features

Its main feature is their air cooling method with Class F insulation and EPOXY resin as a protection against winding; rendering any post-installation maintenance unnecessary. They use standardized powers from 350 kVA to 2,500 kVA, primary voltages of 13.2 and 33 kV and frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz.

More Info

These transformers are used in confined spaces where safety requirements render the use of oil-immersed transformers impossible. They can only be installed indoors and they are generally used in large buildings, hospitals, factories, large shopping malls, mining and any other activity requiring intensive use of electric power.

Manufacturing Standards

Manufactured and tested in accordance with IRAM and IEC 726/76 standards.
Made in Argentina.

VENTILATED DRY-TYPE TRANSFORMERS

General Features

They are manufactured in voltages up to 25kV. Its exceptional thermal performance makes them ideal for application in enclosed spaces and under very demanding conditions.

More Info

Especially suited for enclosed spaces; its insulation method, completely coated in highly resistant Class F varnish enables its installation in damp locations.

Manufacturing Standards

Manufactured and tested in accordance with IRAM 2276 and ANSI C57.12.01 standards. With a compact design, it is manufactured with flame-retardant and self-extinguishing insulating materials; requiring 40% less insulation than encapsulated transformers. This guarantees lower levels of greenhouse gas emissions compared to the other option.
