Our History

Vasile & Cía. S.A.C.I. was founded by Angel Francisco Vasile in 1945 with the purpose of manufacturing transformers for lightning. During this first period, over 150,000 units of said product were produced, the company reaching a leading position in the local market as well as standing out internationally.

In 1974, already an established company with almost 30 years of a successful industrial history, it introduced transformers for Rural Electrification, Electric Power Distribution and Transmission. Incorporating this new product line, along a solid corporate policy focused on quality and customer service, has placed us in a privileged position both locally and internationally.

Its main virtues being product quality and after-sales support, in 1998, Vasile & Cía. S.A.C.I. got the ISO 9001:2015 certifications by Germany’s TUV RHEINLAND, successfully renewed yearly, consistently with our founder’s spirit of constant improvement. Vasile & Cía. S.A.C.I.

At present we also have ISO 14001: 2015 certification granted by the TUV RHEINLAND of Germany according to the spirit of improvement and continuous improvement bequeathed by our founder.

The company currently produces transformers in powers from 50 kVA to 200 MVA and voltages to 230 kV in its state-of-art industrial plant of over 16.000 square metres in Pilar District, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Our products, all designed and produced by an outstanding professional team, are guaranteed by almost 80 years of uninterrupted business and industrial history, which support the quality of our products.

Laboratory

Vasile & Cía. S.A.C.I. currently has 2 Electrical Testing Laboratories, one of them for Distribution Transformers and another for Power and Special Transformers.

These laboratories are equipped with all required instruments to carry out routine and type tests in accordance with IRAM [Instituto Argentino de Normalización y Certificación, Argentine Institute for Standardization and Certification], ANSI and IEC standards.

The company has necessary facilities for testing transformers up to 230 kV and 200 MVA.

Plant Overview
